Your resting metabolic rate is a highly reliable and effective way of testing how many calories you need to eat throughout the day to meet your fitness and/or weight loss goals.
We offer two different ways to measure your resting metabolic rate - a Whole Body Calorimetry Unit and a Metabolic Cart.
Which one Should I Choose?
The whole body calorimetry unit is the most accurate way to measure resting metabolic rate, and many people find it more comfortable than the metabolic cart. However, the metabolic cart is less expensive. Click here for Prices.
Your body is composed of fat, muscle, bone, and water. Body composition measurements are used to look beyond body weight to tell how much of your body consists of fat and fat free weight so you can assist your personal trainer, dietitian, or healthcare professional with making effective diet and exercise recommendations specific to your body.
In the HNRU, body composition is measured using the Bod Pod.
